Environmental Health Education

The Santa Rosa County Environmental Health Department is committed to our community and frequently attends local events to promote environmental health initiatives and educate citizens about important public health topics. The department has attended a diverse range of events and has given topic-specific presentations for both large and small groups, and has sponsored, promoted, supported, and participated in many community based projects and events.

For example, the Santa Rosa County Environmental Health department has given educational presentations or set up informational sessions at health fairs, Relay for Life events, public schools, and seminars. The department has provided presentations on topics such as food safety, proper hand-washing techniques for schoolchildren, and recycling among others.
